About Us
We are an alumni ski-racing family, passionate about skiing and the outdoors. We spent many wonderful years with the Nakiska Alpine Ski Association training in beautiful Kananaskis and racing throughout Alberta. I began creating ski signs and gifts for our own skiers and am so excited to share these with you!
Philosophy
My name is Ulla, and Whisky Walker Ranch is home to my family, two dogs and our horse Jake. Living on an acreage requires a certain self-sufficiency and creativity, and I've always loved drawing on the outdoors when it comes to decorating our home. I am passionate about upcycling, DIY, recycling and basically saving anything old and historical, because those are the things that tell the best stories! If it can be saved with some TLC and a little ingenuity it will live on to create new memories.

My mother was a ski racer in Austria in her early years and was the inspiration behind our three daughters as they pursued racing with the Nakiska Alpine Ski Association in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Alberta. She would tell stories of wearing home-made bibs, hitch-hiking to races and hiking up the mountains with your skis before the days of lifts and gondolas. She was their biggest fan!

My father was an incredible finishing carpenter and I grew up watching him turn his ideas into beautiful, hand-crafted reality. We were fortunate to see him working with many varieties of wood, smelling freshly-cut lumber and kicking our way through fluffy piles of sawdust in his workshop. The things he lovingly made for me and my family over the years are the true treasures I will keep forever!
